Welcome to The Bright Side
In a world that often feels heavy, let’s choose light. Each week, I will share stories of kindness, courage, and quiet triumphs — reminders that compassion still moves mountains and small deeds ripple outward. This is your weekly dose of hope. A place where goodness is noticed, celebrated, and carried forward.
Conquering Cancer One Step at a Time
Healing is a journey, and I’m walking it with Grace
For anyone who knows me they know that Cancer is near and dear to my own heart as I lost my own husband 3 years ago. Today however, we are not speaking of loss but, rather celebrating Triumphs.
We have a local lady who has been battling cancer for several months now, and like so many others it has turned her world upside down. I wanted to feature her because She has been such a true inspiration to me and so many others. I have witnessed her unwavering hope and faith as she continues to fight the effects of the treatments placed upon her body, mind, and spirit every day. Her compassion is endless as she continues to reach out to others daily, letting them know they are important and being thought of despite her own life altering worries and fears. Her perseverance and endless faith for complete recovery. Her willingness to put pride aside and allow others to pray and care for her when needed.
I am so incredibly happy to report that this beautiful lady has made great progress and won some big battles. We will continue to pray that she wins the war. Cancer is an uninvited wretched beast that settles quietly and without warning in the trenches of the body. Strides are being made every day with new discoveries and treatments. Let’s keep the faith that soon we will conquer it once and for all. For all of you out there that are battling cancer or have battled It please know that you are being thought of and prayed for.
